Is there a nice spot in the coast near London worth visiting?
I made a little of research with Google Maps and Panoramio. The isle of Sheppey, an island 62 km from London, seemed pleasant enough to try to drive there.

Actually the sea front looks to have even more more concrete that it shows on the picture and it is preceded by parking full of chavs and their cars presided by a McDonald’s.
I am beginning to think that the Spanish Armada wasn’t destroyed by a huge storm. I think the sailors looked at the eastern coast of the island and became despondent about the whole idea of invading such land, lost focus and became at the mercy of the elements.
