Tesco try some interesting inroads into Internet from time to time, their API being one.

In addition to RightNow, Tesco’s providers, there are a few interesting providers of reputation monitoring, trackur, socialmention, radian6 and visibletechnologies to mention a few in no particular order.

Nick ventures a few immediate applications of the so far passive “listening”: stocks management of references with volatile demand, performance of their loyalty scheme, branding measurements and the really involving “interacting” with the users.
