British Airways will charge an average of £3,000 one-way from London Docklands to New York for each of the 32 flatbed seats on a A318 plane that can accommodate 100 passengers. The service started operating on 29th September 2009.

The inefficient use of cabin room will not will not help to improve the environmental record of the airline. British Airways will fly between London City Airport and New York JFK , a route that includes a short refuelling stop at Shannon in Ireland as City Airport’s runway is too short to handle that Airbus model with a full fuel payload.

  1. I lost my luggage in London two weeks ago and found the baggage claim form that has to be filled out, entirely too long and complicated. As far as I can tell, my luggage never made it to the USA. I was told, “Good Luck!” What kind of response is that?! Get it together people!
